KRON news footage from November 9th 1967 featuring scenes of members of the Black Panther Party and suporters trying to meet with Police Chief Gaines at the Oakland Police Department building, to protest the treatment of co-founder Huey P. Newton. This delegation is seen being firmly rebuffed by officers and staff and does not gain entry to Gaines's office in Room 807. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
