Description
KPIX-TV news footage from February 4, 1972 with reporter Ed Arnow featuring views of a Black History exhibit at Oakland Museum, arranged by their Cultural and Ethnic Affairs Guild. Includes brief views of patrons at the exhibition and an interview with dancer, choreographer, and community activist Ruth Beckford (1925-2019), who emphasizes the historical importance of 60 oral history tapes that have been recorded with members of the Bay Area's black community.
