Description
KRON-TV newsfilm from April 4, 1970 featuring scenes from a press conference by American feminist writer and activist Betty Friedan, which preceded a day-long conference on women's liberation at Mills College in Oakland. Friedan refers to: "The submerged ... exploding hostility between the sexes" and talks about how women can learn from recent efforts by African Americans to demand equality.
