KRON-TV news footage from June 9, 1968 in the lower recreation yard of San Quentin State Prison, featuring scenes of American Indians observing traditional rites of mourning for Senator Robert F. Kennedy. Includes views of elders playing drums, of Adam Fortunate Eagle, of dancers and 850 inmates watching. This ceremony was held to honor the recently assassinated Kennedy as an advocate for American Indian rights. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

This 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in November 2022.
