4th floor (east wall display cases)

Fifty years ago, student activists from the Black Student Union, Third World Liberation Front, and Students for a Democratic Society led a five-month strike that would establish San Francisco State as home of the first College of Ethnic Studies in the nation. Examine iconic images and texts from the SF State Strike Collection housed in the University Archives and then explore the deeper meaning of this struggle with the Strike Chronology LibGuide where dates are linked to digitized primary sources to see a movement for relevant education come to life.

This exhibit runs until May 31, 2019
