Suggest a Book Purchase
The Library adds material to its collection to support the curriculum of San Francisco State University.
In addition to this form faculty and students can refer suggestions directly to the appropriate Subject Librarian. Faculty interested in requesting materials to be placed on reserve in the Library should see the Course Reserves page for more information.
Students interested in suggesting classroom textbooks should be aware the Library purchases very few, but there is some availability online at the Library’s eBook Textbook page.
Due to the number of suggestions made, the Library is unable to confirm whether suggestions are added to the collection. In advance of making a suggestion please check OneSearch to see if the material is already in the collection. For questions and more information please contact the Library’s Collection Development Coordinator, David Hellman, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (415) 405-0686.
