Room Reservations for Library Building
Reservations are available for the Study Rooms in the Study Commons and Research Commons, the 1st floor Events Room, 2nd floor Team Collaboration spaces, 2nd floor computer-equipped instruction rooms, and rooms 221 and 222.
Faculty Teaching or Office Hours in Study Rooms in 1st floor Research Commons
Faculty members can request single or multiple reservations to use one of the Study Rooms in the 1st floor Research Commons (LIB 124E, F, G, H, J, K) as a teaching space or for office hours with students up to six months in advance. If there is more than one person in a Study Room, masks/face coverings are required.
Faculty and Staff Reservations for 1st floor Events Room LIB 121
Faculty and staff can reserve the 1st floor Events Room up to six months in advance up to two times/month.
Student Study Rooms (individual or group occupancy):
Students can make one three-hour reservation per day up to three days in advance to use one of the Study Rooms in the Ground floor Study Commons (LIB 40A, B, C, D, E, F, G. H, J, K, L, M) or the 1st floor Research Commons (LIB 124E, F, G, H, J, K) as an individual or group study space. If there is more than one person in a Study Room, masks/face coverings are required.
Rooms 221 and 222:
SF State faculty or staff can request reservations in rooms 221 and 222 up to six months in advance through the Center for Equity and Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CEETL).
Make a Reservation
To reserve a Faculty Teaching Room in the Research Commons, a 2nd floor computer-equipped instruction room, or the Events Room: Email email@example.com
To reserve a Student Study Room or Team Collaboration space, use the room reservation system online: reserve a student study room
To reserve 221 or 222, submit an online request: reserve a CEETL meeting room (LIB 221 or 222)
Check Availability / Look for Event
To check the availability of reservable rooms, see: https://rooms-ems.sfsu.edu/library/Default.aspx
Click Browse Events or Browse Locations.
Click on Daily, Weekly or Monthly List to view reservations.
