Course Reserves Collection
The Library Building is closed. Many resources and services will be unavailable until regular building access resumes. For more information, please see our Library Resources and Services Available During Fall guide, or contact the Library using our 24/7 Ask a Librarian service.
The Course Reserves collection consists of books, DVDs, CDs and other materials selected by SF State faculty on a semester-by-semester basis for the exclusive short-term use of students in one or more of their classes. Materials may be from the Library collections or personal copies.
Using the Collection
Course reserves may be checked out from the Book Checkout & Pickup Desk. Typical loan periods are 2 hours, 4 hours, 24 hours or 48 hours, as determined by the instructor.
