KRON-TV news footage from October 26, 1966 with reporter Jack Bates in Mill Valley featuring a press conference by the Principal of Tamapais High School Robert H. Prather, who describes the circumstances surrounding a "disturbance" in the parking lot at the end of second lunch period, involving around 40-50 students. He states: "We feel it's a reflection of the general feeling of tension, a spin off from the racial tension of the nation and Bay Area especially and feelings are high." Prather also talks about "race relations" on their campus. Note that KPIX-TV covered the same story on this day. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
