52 Operation Babylift children arrive

KPIX-TV news footage from April 2 & 3 1975 with reporter Lynne Joiner featuring scenes of 52 Vietnamese children arriving at Harmon Hall in San Francisco's Presidio, as part of Operation Babylift. Includes a press conference with a man who describes the overwhelming offers of public support, an interview with a woman who confirms some of the families have received confirmation their children are safe and views of the facilities and of 5 children being transported to families in Oregon. This 16mm reversal film print was re-transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in April 2023.
