Nurses and State mediators negotiate at Hayward motel

KPIX-TV news footage from July 1966 with reporter Rollin Post featuring scenes from a Hayward motel, where nurses and California State mediators are trying to resolve the labor dispute which caused 91 nurses to resign from Eden Hospital in Castro Valley. There is a press conference with Thomas Nikolopoulos (State Superintendent of Mediation) and Ralph Hartley (Research Director for the California Nurses Association), who both comment on the current status of negotiations.
