Description
KPIX-TV news footage from April 26 1973 featuring brief scenes of pornographic actress Linda Lovelace being interviewed by reporter Rolfe Peterson on the sidewalk in San Francisco, watched by a small crowd. They discuss Lovelace's star role in 1972's 'Deep Throat' which was very successful with mainstream audiences and when Peterson asks: "Would you like to appear in non-porny movies?" she exclaims: "No, no! I would never play somebody else, I'm me. You know. And I'll play me and what I can do best." Lovelace goes on to say she's looking forward to her next project and also confirms: "I worked on salary, I made $1200 for 'Deep Throat'." Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
