Governor Pat Brown Declares Himself For Re-Election (1966)

KTVU News footage featuring scenes from a press conference by Governor of California Pat Brown in 1966 who declares himself as a candidate for re-election. Seeking the Governorship for a 3rd term Brown states that: "I promise you that you will see a campaign and you'll see a record of accomplishment and promises for the future like you've never seen before!" It should be noted that Brown eventually lost the 1966 Gubernatorial campaign race to the Republican candidate Ronald Reagan.
