KRON-TV special report from 1963 narrated by Lee Noble featuring the history of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and reflections on the legacy of John McLaren (the park's superintendent for 53 years). Includes extended scenes of Noble reading quotes from McLaren (in voice over) and views of people enjoying leisure time at: Spreckels Lake; Stow Lake; the De Young Museum; the Botanical Garden; the Japanese Tea Garden and the Conservatory of Flowers. This film was written and produced by Larry Russell and directed by Dick Behrendt.
