Description
KRON-TV news footage from August 19th 1966 featuring scenes from a press conference in which a woman comments on the "unequal treatment under the laws" of the homosexual community including police surveillance of gay bars police harassment and job security. Also includes a clergyman discussing the "problem of the homosexual community." It should be noted that the original KRON-TV shot-log record for this footage was titled "Lesbians." Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
