KPIX Eyewitness News interview from July 23rd 1969 In San Francisco featuring an interview with Bayview Hunters Point community leader Eloise Westbrook. She explains that they're not only trying to build new homes with the Redevelopment Agency but are: "Also trying to build a better image" for the neighborhood to address the issue of social isolation residents have felt within the city. She goes on to express their hope that better schools housing jobs and a sense of dignity for their young men may begin to develop with the construction of new housing but this undertaking will need to involve full participation on all levels by San Francisco. Ends with views of housing models for the proposed new development in Bayview Hunters Point.
