Priest discusses Black Panther persecution

KPIX Eyewitness news report by Don Knapp from December 11th 1969 featuring a priest speaking at a press conference who makes a plea for the authorities "to exercise maximum discpline and restraint" and "to be just to every person without reference to race." The priest goes on to assert that he believes the Black Panthers are being persecuted by the government and police offering recent violence against Black Panther Party members in Chicago and Los Angeles.
