Description
KRON-TV news footage from April 6 1967 featuring brief scenes of acress Julie Christie being surprised at San Francisco airport as she exits customs, by Ch.4 reporter Phil Wilson and other members of the press. Christie flew in from London and will be staying in Sausalito, while working on the movie production of 'Petulia'. When Wilson asks if she can share anything about her forthcoming role, she replies: "Oh I've only just landed, afraid not ... I haven't had any sleep for about 48 hours!" She then moves off to greet people who were waiting for her. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
