Goman's Gay 90s club goes topless (1967)

KRON-TV news footage from April 4, 1967 with reporter Jerry Jensen's featuring scenes from Goman's Gay 90s club on Broadway in San Francisco, which is about to debut topless dancing. With views of the club being revamped for it's new role and of go-go showgirl Laurie Coffee and topless dancer Yvonne de Kova stood outsde on the club's facade, changing it's name from "Gay 90s" to Gay 60s." Also includes an interview with husband and wife owners Ray and Bee Goman, who reflect on their "mixed feelings" over this update. Bee Goman states that: "They're kinda nice mixed feelings because we feel that we're going to be so happy running to the bank with all our money, with this new operation. That we are hoping that we won't miss our acting and singing and carrying on like we've done." They also admit that the public is demanding topess entertainment on Broadway and they need to change with the times.
