Description
KPIX-TV news footage from August 20, 1970 with reporter Steve Huss featuring a visit to Larraburu Brothers Bakery in San Francisco, who are cooperating with a Federal project which is trying to isolate the "secret" formula for baking sourdough French bread. Includes an interview with a spokesperson for Larraburu Brothers Bakery, views of their French bread production line and scenes of people shopping for French bread at Fisherman's Wharf. Note that this item was originally titled "French Bread Crunch" in the KPIX Newsfilm Shot-Log. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
