Davey Rosenberg on defying nude dancing ban

KPIX-TV news footage from March 8, 1973 with reporter Mike Lee featuring an interview with North Beach publicist David "Davey" Rosenberg, who shares his reaction to a notice issued by the Department of Alcholic Beverage Control (ABC). ABC has just put 25 topless and bottomless clubs in the Bay Area on noice that if their entertainmers continue to display genitals and pubic hair, they might have their beverage licenses suspended or even lifted. Rosenberg remains defiant and declares: "We are not going to cover up or put g-strings on our bottomless entertainers." Ends with views outside of Big Al's and the Roaring 20s clubs, where topless barkers are seen trying to coax passersby into their establishments. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
