Description
KPIX-TV news footage from July 1966 with reporter Rollin Post featuring an update on deadlocked negotiations between nurses who are threatening to resign and hospital adminstrators. Includes silent views of nurses arriving, a press conference by Lawrence Corbett who puts nurses wage increase demands into perspective and an interview with Ralph Hartley (Research Director for the California Nurses Association), who says his wife intends to resign her nursing position at Kaiser Clinic in Oakland. This 16mm b&w positive reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in July 2023.
