Description
KRON-TV news footage from August 29th 1966 features brief scenes of rock group The Beatles playing a live concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. It should be noted that this was The Beatles last ever (paid) live concert and this clip shows how much security and distance from fans was imposed for the performance, compared to The Beatles two previous San Francisco shows at Cow Palace: where fans were jumping on-stage in 1965. Includes views of The Beatles walking out into the stadium and a young man running from police, then being tackled to the ground. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
