Affordable Instructional Materials Review Workshop

Join Academic Technology and J. Paul Leonard Library for an Affordable Instructional Materials Review Workshop on Tuesday, March 18, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM via Zoom.

This hands-on session will guide faculty in evaluating the quality of published open educational resources (OER) and free-to-use materials and exploring strategies for creating high-quality course content. We’ll also discuss how these materials can enhance student learning by providing engaging, equitable, and cost-effective course materials.

Spaces are limited to the first 25 registrants. *Please note that only faculty teaching this semester are eligible to apply, and FERP faculty are not eligible.

Honorariums of $100 will be available for faculty who participate, with additional funding opportunities for those adopting Affordable Instructional Materials.

Register for the OER Review Workshop

The Affordable Learning Initiative at SFSU is committed to reducing learning costs and narrowing the equity gap by supporting the adoption of low-cost or free instructional materials. Since 2014, our faculty have helped students save more than $9 million in instructional material costs.

We hope to see you there!
