Banned Books Week

Join us for a screening of The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution in the Special Collections & Archives Reading Room. The film (1 hour, 55 minutes) will be followed by an open-ended talkback. Please note that food and drink are not allowed inside Special Collections & Archives. 

All members of our SFSU community — students, faculty, staff, alumni, neighbors, and researchers — are welcome!

After an icebreaker round of banned books bingo, Dr. Shanice Robinson-Blacknell (Africana Studies) will introduce the panel and facilitate the conversation.
