Computer Sign-On
Overview
The Library uses a computer sign-on system on the computers to ensure equitable access to computers. SF State students, faculty and staff sign on with their University ID number. Friends of the Library, Alumni Association and other affiliated users who have registered at the Book Checkout & Pickup Counter are also recognized by the Sign-On system and can login using their special borrower ID number. Guest users sign-on with a guest ID distributed by the Library.
Guest Users
There are 6 computers for guest users to use up to 2 hours per day. Guest users must first register for a Guest Card and ID number at the Book Pickup and Checkout counter. A valid state photo ID or a passport is required. The Guest account is valid for one year from the registration date.
