If you forget your Library PIN

If you forget your PIN, you have two options:

1. On the Library Account Login page, click the link that says Forgot your PIN?, sign in with your name and Student ID number. The system will send you an email at your registered email account with a link to where you can create a new PIN. The email link only lasts for three hours, but you can request a new email at any time. Forget your SFSU ID Number? Here's help.
2. Take your OneCard/SF State ID, go to Book Pickup & Checkout or and request that your old PIN be deleted. Note: this must be done in person. We cannot delete your PIN if you call or email us, because we must authenticate you with your OneCard/SF State ID Once your PIN has been deleted, you can create a new one using the Library Account Login page.
