Help Us Evaluate Scopus as an Alternative Database to Web of Science

Scopus img

We are offering the campus a 90-day trial during February-April 2017 to try using Scopus for the content faculty and students are accustomed to obtaining through Web of Science. Scopus claims to be the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. The Library would realize a substantial cost saving by subscribing to Scopus instead of Web of Science. Comparison information on journals included and database features for these two databases is available at  here and here.

Please give us your feedback here

Please note that the Library’s collections budget will not support subscribing to both of these databases. We are evaluating the best choice between them. If we do not receive significant feedback favoring Web of Science, we plan to cancel it and subscribe to Scopus instead.
