Pay Rate: $14.50/hr
Assist Systems Department operation with network and system maintenance. Day to day help desk support by phone and in person at the public/student workstation area and staff/faculty work area. Install, update, upgrade, backup and troubleshoot library-wide computer related hardware, software and equipment. Perform documentation and additional systems related duties assigned by the Systems Department.
Availability: Employment paperwork must be ready at the time of hire. Student must be able to work the Summer Session.
Graduate or Advanced Undergraduate preferred. Basic and additional knowledge on PC/MAC computing and networking essential. Basic knowledge on MS office application, Adobe and Macromedia software. Additional skills on System Utility, Client/Server Remote Access, Hardware/Software installation and upgrade and 1st level system support experience. Ability to provide high quality public service in both computer lab and office environment. Willingness to learn and keep updated with IT technology and application.
