The Labor Archives and Research Center will host a celebration of the life and work of Archie Green. The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to honor this proud union man and scholar who pioneered the field of ‘laborlore’ and successfully fought for the creation of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. more

    Very moving tribute. Remembrances from family, folklorists, archivists, and union activists before live music by a panel of performers. Refreshments afterward for meeting other friends of Archie.

    This notice was helpful in inviting my friends who saw Archie at a party in December.
