LARC 23rd Anniversary Program

The Labor Archives and Research Center invites you to attend its 23rd anniversary evening program where we will celebrate the Archives new publication:

San Francisco Labor Landmarks Guidebook: A Register of
Sites and Walking Tours

This unique guide book takes you on a tour of San Francisco’s labor past and present working class neighborhoods, labor hangouts, monuments, murals, memorials, and buildings that reflect the history of the people who built the “City by the Bay.”

Our keynote speaker will be San Francisco Chronicle columnist Carl Nolte. There will also be a musical performance by renowned folk singer Faith Petric.

Friday, February 27, 2009.

6:00 pm, light refreshments. 6:30 pm, program begins.

ILWU Local 34 hall, 4 Berry Street, San Francisco (on the Embarcadero next to Giant’s Stadium, 2nd and King Streets).
