Annex I Wireless Issues Resolved

November 15th, 2011

Hi Everybody,

According to the Division of Information Technology the issues we’ve been having the last few weeks with poor wireless connectivity in Annex I have been resolved. Please let us know if you continue to experience problems. Thank you for your patience!

Here’s the message from DoIT

Over the last three weeks, the Division of Information Technology had identified and resolved two issues on the campus wireless network that were impacting customers. The first issue, which related to some of the customers not being able to obtain the login authentication page, was resolved by adjusting wireless network controller parameters. The second issue was a capacity issue at the Library Annex. DoIT has installed additional wireless access points to address increased demand.

At last! It seems to have taken forever to fix.
