Smartphones can now search for books & articles

October 22nd, 2010

Since we launched the Library’s mobile website 4 weeks ago, users have been able to use their smartphones to search for and request books, find and read articles, IM or text us for research assistance, and get a range of information about the Library. Over this time usage of the mobile site has steadily increased. Last week over 500 users visited the site.

We’re also steadily improving the mobile site. This week we added the ability to view databases and research guides organized by subject area.

Let us know what you’d like to see on the mobile site.
