The CSU Student Research Competition provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their outstanding research projects and creative works. Faculty are asked to encourage students to apply. The competition is open to current students, as well as those who graduated in the spring, summer or fall 2010.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, Feb. 21 for the SF State campus competition, which will take place Feb. 28 to March 4. Up to 10 winners will be chosen from the on-campus competition and those winners will compete in the CSU system-wide competition to be held May 6 – 7 at Fresno State.
SF State students have done well past competitions, including awards in three categories last year. Winners receive cash awards.
Student registration forms and application guidelines are available on the Graduate Studies website. SF State participants are also invited to exhibit their work in the Graduate Research and Creative Works Showcase on April 28.
