The problems we’ve been having with Requesting books have been been resolved.
December 7th, 2010
Since Saturday morning there has been a problem with the communications between the servers that run the Library Retrieval System (LRS). We are working with the companies and campus IT to resume normal operation of the Request function as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can request books, by clicking on the Request Hold button at the top of the screen when you are viewing the information on an individual book. See image below.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.

December 6th, 2010
Due to the final stage of implementing the new Library Retrieval System (LRS), from December 6th until approximately January 24th book requests made after Thursday at 8:30PM won’t be available for pick up until Tuesday afternoon. Please make your book requests early in the week to ensure a prompt pick up time.
This final stage of LRS construction will add one more aisle to the system and brings it to its full capacity. The Library and LRS engineers have done their best to make this transition at a time with the least impact.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
