Study Space Update 8/29/08
Cafe 101
The Cesar Chavez Student Center, along with the Division of Information Technology (DOiT), has stepped forward to help address the dramatic reduction in study space the campus will face once the Library building closes later this semester. Cafe 101 on the ground floor of the Student Union is now open extended hours and will soon have expanded wireless coverage courtesy of DOiT.

2nd Floor Library Study Space
Now that it looks like most Library services will continue to be offered in the Library building through October, we are exploring ways to make this old building more user friendly. A modest success on this front is the opening of a new study area in the NW corner of the 2nd floor near Periodicals. There are seats for 50+ students, access to the wireless network and a few more power outlets that are usually found in the building. We hope to open additional study areas soon.
