Instant Messaging (IM) can now be used for general library questions as well as research assistance. The service now uses a pop-up browser so you can continue your Library website session without losing your IM session helper. Find the IM button on pages where you are likely to have questions like the Find Articles and Databases page. The service is available only during library hours. All you need is a computer connected to the internet. Try it.

The Media Access Center has a large and growing collection of music and audio recordings available for check-out. Students can check-out CDs and LPs for 7 days, see details. Listening booths are also available for on-site listening. Make an InvestiGator music search.

OASIS is a set of online lessons designed to help improve your skills at finding, using, and evaluating information of all kinds. Fulfill the Basic Information Competence Requirement for graduation by taking the OASIS (Online Advancement of Student Information Skills) tutorial. Its a good idea to get it done early so you are not surprised when you go to apply for graduation.
