The Library now offers a new search tool on the Library home page called OneSearch. By entering search terms in the OneSearch box, you can search almost all of the content available in over 200 databases as well as the Library Catalog simultaneously. Your search can include all fields, or only author, title or subject. You can also focus your search by types of sources, for example, the Library Catalog for books and media, or Articles and Databases. While this search tool does not replace searching specific individual databases appropriate to your topic or subject area, it facilitates discovery of sources and databases relevant to an area of research or interdisciplinary topic. Try it out and click on the feedback link to let us know what you think.

Starting August 27th, 2012, the Study Commons will be open only to current SF State students, faculty and staff with a valid SF State OneCard ID. Current students, faculty and staff remember to have your SF State OneCard ID card with you at all times when using the Study Commons.

Students, poets and scholars no longer have to visit the Humanities building to listen to or view one of the treasures stored in the American Poetry Archive. They can now take advantage of the radical convenience of digital technology to listen to over 50 historic recordings made by the Poetry Center in the 1950s that are now part of the Poetry Center Digital Archive on DIVA.
Poets included in the Digital Archive include: Allen Ginsberg, Marianne Moore, Langston Hughes, Denise Levertov and many others.
Have a listen.
