Privileges for ‘Friends of the Library’ have changed as of today. One big change is that Friends need to use Guest computers. At the Sustaining level ($100) however they have some nice new options: Netbook check-out and WiFi (they should go to the Book Check Out Desk). For several days now, many students whose PIN numbers were working previously, have reported errors trying to login. Having the students reset their PIN seems to work. The problem has been reported.
Students are in the library looking for the ratio sources in the reference area per the instructor’s written assignment. However, the current issues of the ratio sources are not in reference, but on two-hour reserve. In consultation with the instructor, they were placed there last April because they were disappearing from the ref stacks....
