I learned from an IM/patron and also CIRC that there are problems requesting in the LRS at the moment and people using the request button in Investigator get a rather amusing message that says this: “”Your request cannot be processed at this time. Please ask a library staff member for help....
The ring volume on the Info Desk phone 338-1854 on the counter is very difficult to hear even on the high setting. We need a replacement.
Both of the OneCard VTS machines are down. The OneCard website(http://fiscaff.sfsu.edu/generalinformation/departments/onecard/onecard_small.jsp) for online deposit site is also having issues, when you click on the “Online Deposits” link you get the error message below. We need to find a solution before 10:00 p.m when only the CSOs are avaliable and there will be no Library staff members...
One of the VTS machines is out of service in Annex-l. The other machine still works for adding value, but is not able to dispense guest cards. The OneCard office has been notified. They will send somebody in the morning to fix the VTS machines.
It’s Saturday and the EJL has been down all day. Ya Wang has reported the problem to SFX.
Students having reporting problems accessing the internet through the wireless network in Annex-I. This appears to be a larger issue connected with IP addressing on the network. The problem has been reported to DOiT. I will post updates as I know more.
