If you’re using the Circulation module (check-out materials, verifying user status, checking -in materials) in Annex 1, be sure to CLOSE THE WINDOW on the patron’s account. If you don’t close the window, it remains active and secure. Users will not be able to access a workstation with the University ID number and “Loan...

THURSDAY (11-19-2009) – Annex 1 – Some Workstations Unavailable!!

November 19, 2009
By

An unexpected scheduling error (and miscommunication) has led to the Annex 1 PC workstations (in the alcove) to be reserved for a nursing exam until 7 pm today. We’ve already gotten complaints from students who are using “Research Workstations” (w/ a 2 hour limit, per day), but need additional time to complete their paper....

November 17, 2009
By

OK – Someone ripped out a series of articles from this journal – Dissent (Summer 2009) in Annex 1.  More than one patron has noted the pages are missing and we believe its related to a class assignment.  Jeff Rosen will staple the missing pages into the journal. Public Photocopiers in Annex 1/ Two-Sided Copying

November 4, 2009
By

If a patron is trying to copy single-sided originals and  convert them to two-sided copies (or ‘double-sided’ copying), look for the ‘Heading” column and select  ”1>2 Sided ” copying.  NOT “2>1 Sided”. “1>2 Sided” copying assumes the user has a series of single-sided ORIGINALS  that need to be copied as ’2 sided’ copies.  The...

By

Research Workstations – A bit of a bug…

October 6, 2009
By

We seem to be having problems with logging into the Research Workstations.
