Everyone: We’re having a lot of problems with student using their OneCard to print with the new swipers. The most common problem is their OneCard w/ a VISA logo. These cards will not work. They need to go to OneStop center and get their card replaced, free of charge. thomas

Two analog telephones have been installed in the Library for emergencies (our VoIP phones don’t work if there’s a power outage): one is in the office (124A) behind the Research Commons service desk, on the bookshelf, and the other is in the Library Administration office.
The Add Value Station in Book Pickup & Checkout is working. So is the AVS in Study Commons, but since SC is closed that doesn’t matter right now. The copiers on Ground, Three and Four are also working. But the copiers on the first floor are not working yet.
From DoIT at 9:20 am The campus experienced a network outage following this morning’s scheduled campus power maintenance. On-campus network services have been restored and we are working to resume off-campus network connectivity, Gateway, authentication, and application services (Grades, Registration, and Oracle forms applications such as SIMS) by 10 a.m. this morning.
All of the public copiers are currently offline and will remain so until Wednesday morning. During this time the NuVision OneCard readers will be installed. We tested one this afternoon and it worked perfectly. So I’m not anticipating any issues with the copiers once they’re back online on Wednesday.
As part of the move to the new OneCard system by NuVision the VTS machine in Book Pickup and Checkout has been shutdown, as have the VTS machines in Study Commons and Digital Media Studios, which are both closed over Winter Session.
