Microform Reader/Printers: Interim Status

There are currently 3 Microform reader/printers with an attached PC that allow scanning to a USB drive.  Patron needs to download microform article to a USB drive, then take it to one of the Commons to print out.  One machine is located across from the Book Check Out desk on 1^st floor, one across from 3^rd floor Help Desk, and one in the open microform area (outside 321 office suite, closest to Lib Admin) on the 3^rd floor.

There are 4 additional machines in open 3^rd floor area that are currently READ ONLY, but Win plans to add PC capability to two of them very soon.

This is an interim solution for the summer.  By fall, the five machines with PC/scanning capability will be networked to print in the copy/print centers on each floor and will not require downloading to a USB drive.
