SF Newspapers/SF Chronicle Index – Library Annex!

February 27, 2012
By

It’s that time of year again when history students may be coming into the Library Annex to ask to see either the San Francisco Newspapers Index or the San Francisco Chronicle Index.

Both ARE located in the Library Annex on microfiche, against the wall next to the photocopiers and microfiche reader.  Please be prepared to show students where these are located, and even more importantly, how they work — most students have never seen microfiche before, or an old school index, and they’ll need orientation!

If you have any questions, please let me know.
