Students are now able to print from their own laptops anywhere on campus. Kim (Wong) told me how to get there and I found it too many steps to there. So until we can find a easier way to get to the installation page, here’s the steps to follow:
1) Go to the library’s website (http://www.library.sfsu.edu) and click on the “Services” tab (salmon colored).
2) Scroll down to “Computers & Printing” and select the “Printing” link.
3) Scroll down to “Printing from Your Windows Laptop” and select the link (same name). This will take you to “Download The Windows Wireless Print Driver” link.
On the same page, you’ll be instructed on how to install the driver and how to print from your newly installed print driver.
Hope this helps.
Paul will add a Spotlight Story to the home page about wireless printing.
Please include –>Windows ONLY!<– language in any further posts or signage. Macs need not apply.
This is great news. Thanks!
