We get questions from time to time about patron records (mostly setting up PINs) for non-standard students, including College of Extended Learning students. Their records should be automatically entered into the patron database according to Circulation. Ed Liddle takes an automatic batch beginning a couple weeks before the term starts, which includes all regular students plus CEL students, and updates it every week through about a month into the semester, when there usually are no more students coming in. So extended learning students should have proper patron records for PINs and everything else. (Jeff Rosen for Ned Fielden)
