New guest user can’t login

Has anybody seen this kind of thing before? A new guest user account was created for a patron at around 11am, but she wasn’t able to sign in to a Guest workstation as late as 12 noon. Her record looks fine in Millennium. Any ideas?

Coffee Drinks And Annex 1 Service Desk

Everyone:  We had a massive coffee spill Friday morning at the Info Point.  While it wasn’t intentional, it left a sticky residue on the floor, keyboards, desk area, etc.  Systems staff didn’t appreciate the clean-up of keyboard, so this is a reminder.   Drinks of any sort can spill and require more clean-up than water. ...

Everyone: The box behind the Student Assistant desk area contains scrap paper (that we cut) for use by patrons.   Someone is depositing their garbage and recyclable material in the box.  If you’re recycling, please use the blue recycling bins.  For trash, use the trash containers. Thank you!

Harley just informed me that HK will be shutting down the LRS today from 11:30-1:30pm. During this time requests for items in the LRS will not work. The OPAC, databases and other electronic resources will not be affected. I’ve added a note in the OPAC about the LRS requests.
