Latest: Patron Records/ New Faculty Members

Everyone:

Just a few reminders:

1.  Patron Records are confidential.  If someone asks that  we initiate a book request or verify their library account over the phone – let them know we can assist them if they bring their photo ID to Annex 1.  We shouldn’t be providing patron information without verifying and viewing a valid photo ID.  From the number of lost OneCards left in Annex 1, someone can use the ID number (printed on the card) as a way of gaining patron services.

2. New Faculty Members and Library Accounts – There are some ‘unresolvable’ issues related to new faculty members accounts and Millenium.  Most ‘new’ faculty accounts aren’t transferred to our Library system.  New faculty members need to register in HSS 102 to gain library privileges.
