There are still a number of issues around how patrons request items that are in the LRS. When a patron requests an item on open shelving he/she is prompted to authenticate, then request the item. Unfortunately, this isn’t happening yet for items in the LRS. Currently, patrons only have to enter the first 9 characters of their last name when requesting an item in the LRS. And if they happen to be logged in while making the request, the request sometimes won’t work. Ed and Circ and aware of the situation. I’ll be talking to Innovative in the morning.
