Problem Patron Issues
Everyone:
Within the last week, one of our regular community users has been rather aggressive and intimidating to staff and students in Annex 1. If problems arise, report/ refer the patron to the librarian on duty, the Library Guard (if available), or call Department of Public Safety. Their number is x87200. We’re still asking everyone to document incidents by filling out an “Unusual Occurrence Report” form.

Just a reminder that the “Unusual Occurrence Report” forms are located in a blue folder in the portable file located next to the bookcase behind the IM computer.

The University Police Department (UPD) telephone number in an emergency is 911, either from your desk phone or your cell phone. To request an officer, in a non-emergency situation, call 338-7200, or 8-7200 from an on campus phone, remember to select “0″ from the options menu to be directly connected to the dispatch operator. Remembering this will save you time as there is a long list of options in the menu.
